When Carsten Scheinpflug is in town, the Sharpies come out! The result was some lovely collaborations with he, me and neighbor "T" (T for Thomas!). Thomas is pretty much my daily whiteboard collaboration partner these days. At least I think it's him. There might be some MYSTERY neighbors contributing as well... Hopefully! We'll never know!!! Regardless, there's a new one everyday!
The whiteboard for drawing and quickly erasing. Thus learning the value of creating over attachment! But a collaboration with Eric White had to be saved with a photo in order to stay attached!!!
I was fortunate enough to have Dana Muise animate (using Flash 8.0) and sound design some characters I came up with. They're speaking a conversation I recorded awhile back. To witness Dana gradually come up with amazing moves such as the undulating body lines and the flickering eyes set to the soundtrack he found was an absolute joy.
Each time he sent a new version for review, it all became rather breathtaking and mesmerizing as I kept hitting the "play" button again and again.... And again! He's just a fantastic animator. That's not all though...His creation/direction of his own animated projects, storyboarding, drawing and writing are all top notch.
Producer/Engineer, Scott Greiner, mixed and mastered final audio to ensure proper levels and crystal clarity.
Enjoy our collaboration if you check it out. Thanks!
ArtRebels.com is an online creative community based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Their excellent website reflects their energetic and passionate aim to be a socially conscious hub for artists, designers and musicians to display and sell works in a collective spirit. Initially they invited me to post the Figurines' music video and then they offered to post original art for sale! I sent them the following framed, ink-on-paper pieces as my initial offering and they're now in the shop. Check back there for more works posted as well as loads of excellent art, music and crafts from other artists from around the globe. Thanks ArtRebels!
